Question: How can I add more resource documents to the InnoMedical Reference Program categories?
Answer: New resource documents can be added to the InnoMedical Reference Program categories by using the IRP Admin Function . A detailed, step-by-step process of how to complete this task this can be found in
IRP Help under the section Managing IRP Content.
Question: How can I add pictures to new or existing resource documents?
Answer:Pictures can be added to new or existing resource documents by using the IRP Admin Function . To do so, from the editor, open the resource document that you want to add pictures to and follow the steps provided in IRP Help under the section Using the Editor/Inserting Images.
Question: What if the computer I am installing the IRP CM 2.0 onto has a browser other than Internet Explorer?
Answer: The IRP CM 2.0 program does require Internet Explorer 5.5 or later version in order to have full functionality, however, it is not a problem to have other browsers such as Netscape or AOL installed on the same computer. If this is the case, you will want to ensure that the IRP is opening with Internet Explorer and not another type of browser. If you determine that the IRP is opening in another browser there are a few quick steps you can take to force the IRP to open with Internet Explorer. Please see the attached addendum: Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator Considerations.
Question: Why don't I see any resource documents listed in the main screen when I click on the categories to the left?
Answer: The most likely reason that you wouldn't see any resource documents would be that the IRP is opening in a browser other than Internet Explorer. If you determine that the IRP is opening in another browser, please see the attached addendum: Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator Considerations, to ensure that IRP is opening in Internet Explorer.
It is also possible that options within Internet Explorer have been set to disable ActiveX Controls. The IRP program requires that ActiveX Controls be allowed to run. The settings to allow or disallow ActiveX Controls to run can be found in Internet Explorer by going to Tools / Options / Security Settings.
Question: Is the IRP capable of running on an Apple Macintosh computer system?
Answer: Currently, the IRP CM 2.0 will only run on IBM PC based computer systems. If demand merits, a Macintosh capable version may be considered for future releases.
Question: How can the date that appears in the resource documents and in the bottom left corner of the program window be modified or reset?
Answer: The date that appears in the resource documents and in the bottom left corner of the program window simply read from the operating system's date setting. If the date is incorrect in the IRP it is because it also incorrect within the operating system settings. In Windows, the operating system time and date can be set by double clicking on the clock in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
Question: Is the IRP CM 2.0 internet or intranet ready?
Answer: The standard IRP CM 2.0 version is not internet or intranet capable. A special version is required for customers who would like to have the IRP running on their corporate intranet. It is anticipated that the intranet ready version of the IRP will be released in the future. More information will be provided about the specifics of the intranet version in the near future.
